What happens during the speech therapy class?

First, an initial assessment is carried out. In this first interview, the therapists discuss the problem with the patient. A treatment plan is developed from this. At the same time, you also have to include the environment in the therapy. No matter how good the treatment is, if the environment works against it, goals are achieved much more slowly. The therapy sessions are planned together. The therapy itself takes place in the following hours, which differs depending on the complaint.

How long does the therapy last?

It is very different. Depending on the diagnosis, therapies can last 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The average is 45 minutes. These treatments can then take place once or twice a week. Depending on the degree of severity, the duration of therapy can be a few weeks or several months.
